We source tallow from local Wisconsin farms and beeswax from Kallas Honey in Milwaukee, and choose organic ingredients whenever possible to deliver nutrient-rich skincare that truly supports your skin. From nourishing balms to protective sun care, each formula is made with purpose—and nothing unnecessary.

Behind the scenes, we go the extra mile: from straining tallow with unbleached cheesecloths to using 100% recyclable containers and packaging. Even our leftover fat scraps are put to good use—fed back to our chickens as part of our no-waste mission.

Wisco Tallow Co. was founded by Lindsey Stern—a mom of three, registered nurse, chicken mama, and believer in the power of simple, real ingredients. With the support of my wonderful husband, what began as a passion for natural living has grown into a mission to create clean, nourishing skincare that supports both your skin and our Wisconsin community.

We proudly source high-quality suet from Gehring’s Meat Market in St. Lawrence, Wisconsin, and slow-render it into tallow to preserve its rich nutrients and skin-loving properties. Every product is crafted in small batches with care—free of chemicals and fillers—using only pure, locally sourced ingredients that are as good for your skin as they are for the earth.
