Tallow is rendered beef fat. We start with suet—the firm fat around the kidneys—sourced locally through Gehring’s Meat Market in Wisconsin.
Tallow’s fatty acid profile includes oleic, palmitic, and stearic acids. In our leave-on balms and moisturizers, tallow provides a rich, skin-conditioning base that helps soften skin and seal in moisture.
We render our suet ourselves using a time-intensive triple-rendering process, then carefully select the ingredients for each formula, including organic oils where applicable. Every product has its own ingredient list and directions to help you choose the right fit.

I was hesitant about tallow sunscreen but this product changed my view. I really like the stick for ease of use. It holds up to sweat and seems to protect a long time. It does give you a slight whitish appearance but not that noticeable. I will be buying again,
