Tallow is rendered beef fat. We start with suet—the firm fat around the kidneys—sourced locally through Gehring’s Meat Market in Wisconsin.
Tallow’s fatty acid profile includes oleic, palmitic, and stearic acids. In our leave-on balms and moisturizers, tallow provides a rich, skin-conditioning base that helps soften skin and seal in moisture.
We render our suet ourselves using a time-intensive triple-rendering process, then carefully select the ingredients for each formula, including organic oils where applicable. Every product has its own ingredient list and directions to help you choose the right fit.

I love this product! It smells so nice! I have a back injury and this tallow is so helpful when I have a flair up or just to aid in my sleep! So grateful for this product-going to give it as a gift to my family members! If you have body soreness or fatigue- this is a must have! Totally worth the investment!
